I have been the Senior Pastor of River of Life Christian Fellowship since 2008. Prior to that,
I served as an associate pastor in VT for over 10 years. Jesus Christ led me to receive my Bible
school training from Zion Bible College in Barrington, RI after accepting Christ as my savior at the
age of 17. My beautiful wife, Leanne and I have three boys, Samuel, Alexander, & Joseph.

Pastor Derek presents the gospel with a simple, honest, & open style of preaching, being very transparent and real with people. He mixes humor and Biblical truth that impacts all of us toward spiritual transformation in Jesus Christ our only hope of salvation. Pastor Derek has a passion to see people grow in intimacy with God, seeking that the church community fulfills the Great Commission and shares Jesus Christ with whomever they come in contact with. Pastor Derek has a real love for unchurched people of Brevard County and for the Kingdom of God.
